Water mains and supply pipe repairs in your area
Hepta repairs and replaces water mains and supply pipes in your area: the pipe that brings water from the street to your stopcock and into the house. We locate the fault, explain what we find and repair or replace the section. Call 07477 877199 or send details if pressure has dropped or the ground is wet.
What it covers
The supply pipe is the one that brings water from the road into your home. Because it is buried, problems with it are easy to miss until pressure falls, the meter keeps moving or a wet patch appears in the garden or driveway.
We locate the fault, check where the responsibility lies and repair or replace the affected section. Where the pipe is old, we explain whether patching it makes sense or whether a longer replacement avoids repeated problems.

Questions about water mains & supply pipe repairs
Not here? Call 07477 877199 and ask.
Generally you are responsible for the pipe from the property boundary to your home, and the water company for the pipe in the road. We can tell you where the fault sits and who needs to deal with it.
If every tap is affected, the problem is usually before the branches in the house: a partly closed stopcock, a restriction in the supply pipe, a leak, or a problem on the water company's main. We check each in turn.
Older properties can still have lead pipe. It is worth replacing where found, for water quality reasons. We can identify it, explain the options and replace it with modern pipe where you want it done.
Only where needed. We locate the fault first to keep the opening small, and where practical we use methods that limit disruption. We explain what to expect before work begins.
They are responsible for their own mains and may offer a service for yours. Our job is to find where the fault sits and fix the part that is yours, so you are not waiting on the wrong party.
We are based in Epsom and cover Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Banstead, Cheam, Sutton and Worcester Park, along with Stoneleigh, Esher, Chessington, Cobham, Surbiton, Kingston upon Thames, New Malden, Carshalton, Wallington, Purley, Coulsdon, Reigate, Redhill, Croydon, Morden and Wimbledon. Check that the stopcock is fully open, check whether neighbours have low pressure too, and look for wet ground along the route of the pipe. Make a note of when it started.
Where the supply enters the property, whether pressure is low at every tap, any wet ground outside, and the age and material of the pipe if you know it.
Old or corroded pipe, joints that have failed, tree roots, ground movement and past building work can all damage a buried supply pipe.
Yes. Use the contact form with your name, phone number, town and a short description of the job. Pick a preferred contact time if you like; it is a preference only. For anything urgent, call 07477 877199.
