Radiators and thermostats in your area
Hepta replaces, moves and repairs radiators in your area, and fits thermostatic radiator valves, room thermostats and smart controls. We size radiators to the room, fit them neatly and balance the system. Call 07477 877199 or send details of the rooms involved and what is not working.
What it covers
Radiators are the part of the heating system you see every day, and they show up problems quickly: cold spots, leaking valves, stuck thermostats and radiators that are too small for the room. They are also one of the easiest parts to improve.
We replace tired radiators, fit new thermostatic valves for better control, and install room thermostats and smart controls that fit how you live. Sizing matters, so we choose each radiator to match the room and then balance the system.

When to call
- A radiator is cold in the middle or at the bottom
- A valve is stuck, leaking or will not turn
- A room is too small a radiator for its size
- The thermostat does not match the heating or no longer works

Questions about radiators & thermostats
Not here? Call 07477 877199 and ask.
It depends on the room's size, the number of windows and outside walls, and the insulation. We calculate the heat the room needs and choose a radiator that supplies it without being oversized.
A thermostatic radiator valve, or TRV, controls how much hot water enters a radiator based on the room temperature. It lets you set rooms differently and saves energy where you do not need heat.
Most do, with the right wiring and boiler compatibility. We check your system, recommend a thermostat that works with it and install and set it up so you can use it with ease.
That usually points to sludge settling at the bottom. A system clean or power flush often fixes it. We check whether it is sludge, a valve or balancing before suggesting anything.
Yes, with new pipework. We plan the route to minimise disruption and make sure the radiator still heats the room properly in its new position.
We are based in Epsom and cover Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Banstead, Cheam, Sutton and Worcester Park, along with Stoneleigh, Esher, Chessington, Cobham, Surbiton, Kingston upon Thames, New Malden, Carshalton, Wallington, Purley, Coulsdon, Reigate, Redhill, Croydon, Morden and Wimbledon. Each of those has its own page for radiators and thermostats, and you can also send us your town through the contact form.
Check whether the valve is open, bleed the radiator and see whether it heats up. If it is cold at the bottom, the cause may be sludge, and we can help.
The room, the size of the radiator now, what is wrong with it and what you want from the replacement. A photo of the radiator and its valves helps.
Cold radiators come from trapped air, sludge, stuck valves, poor balancing or radiators that are too small. Old valves are a common culprit.
